For this, our Professor was contacted by the Racine County Agency as asked us to make a logo the Racine County Community Organizations Active in Disaster (COAD).
They wanted it have a safe and hopeful feeling to the logo and and have it the similar colors to the Racine County Agency because the logo will be going next to it.
This is what I can up with.
Thumbnails
Thumbnails that have the idea of hands coming together and forming either a hospital cross or a heart.
#4 is a life vest since you would typically see people in life vest during disasters.
#5 are people holding hands to represent the feeling safety of holding someone's hand.
#6 is similar to previous above, but #7 is meant to be a shield surrounding a heart, which is another way to show safety and protection.

I decided to go with the #3 of my thumbnails because I thought it was the best at showing hopefulness and safety in one. These are the roughs I came up with.
